The Bettersizer 2600 utilizes widely recognized Laser Diffraction Technology for particle measurement, with a range of particle sizes from 0.02 to 2,600 μm. To transform light signals from the scattering spectrum into electrical signals that are sent into intelligent software, there are 92 photoelectric detectors. A precise and reliable particle size distribution can be obtained by applying the Mie scattering theory to the data and carrying out mathematical conversion.
The Bettersizer 2600's modular design gives it a range of useful features. Particle size and shape analysis are provided by the dynamic imaging module, which also allows combined laser and imaging tests with a measurement range expansion to 3,500 μm. The different dispersion system modules support an extensive array of testing requirements, including dry and wet dispersion methods, to satisfy different testing requirements.
