AMICAS, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMCS), a leader in image and information management solutions, today announced a new contract with Asheville
Radiology Associates (Asheville, NC). This agreement will allow Asheville Radiology to use AMICAS Financials(TM) for radiology billing, AMICAS Dashboards(TM) for business intelligence, and AMICAS Patient Services((SM)) and AMICAS Payer Services((SM)) for streamlining their radiology billing processes.
Asheville Radiology consists of 37 radiologists and five vascular surgeons and has three imaging centers based in Asheville. The largest radiology practice of its kind in western North Carolina, Asheville Radiology provides a wide range of imaging services, including women's imaging, CT, interventional radiology, MRI, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, body imaging, musculoskeletal radiology, and vascular ultrasound.
