Swedish Medical Center implements Aegis' physician relationship management program

Swedish Medical Center, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in the Greater Seattle area, has selected tools provided by Aegis Health Group to enhance its physician relationship management program. Aegis' custom-designed solution includes its proprietary contact management software PRISM as well as sales training and program development support.

“Aegis is honored to continue a longtime relationship with Swedish Medical Center through the implementation of our physician relationship management strategy and tools”

"Aegis is honored to continue a longtime relationship with Swedish Medical Center through the implementation of our physician relationship management strategy and tools," said Aegis Vice President Rochell Pierce. "An already well-respected health system, Swedish will be able to further solidify and oversee its relationships with medical staff using these tools."

Aegis' physician relationship management program combines the latest technology with a high-touch approach that helps hospitals better connect with their medical staffs' needs and professional goals. The PRISM software allows Swedish to respond to individual doctors' requests in a personal and efficient manner and measure the value of building long-term relationships with its physicians using a data- and results-driven approach.

Strategic physician relationship management programs enable hospitals to attract and retain top physicians and increase patient volume and revenue. The most effective initiatives achieve alignment in three areas - referral, strategic and economic - and they must be measurable, sustainable and accountable.
