Lightbeam announces contract agreement with Veritas to deploy population health analytics platform

Lightbeam Health Solutions announced today a contract agreement with Veritas to deploy the Lightbeam population health analytics platform.

Veritas' mission is to better enable providers, payers and other members of the healthcare community to successfully improve patient outcomes. The Lightbeam Health platform is central to the values and mission of Veritas, which focuses on using innovation and data to drive positive change. The health analytics platform aggregates data from multiple systems, analyzes it, and delivers actionable insights directly to the point of care. These insights enable physicians and other caregivers to facilitate better quality outcomes at a lower cost.

A unique attribute of this agreement is how Veritas intends to purpose the platform. They will use it as a component of their vSolutions services offering and also make it available to the organizations they serve. The agreement provides full access to the platform including the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Searchlighttm risk stratification, Predictive and retrospective analytics, and Physician Engagement.

"Good, actionable data is paramount in affecting real change in today's innovative healthcare market. We needed the right technology to maximize the work we do for our clients. Lightbeam was the clear choice, not only for us, but for our clients as part of the recommendations we provide," said Martin Margolies, CEO of Veritas.

"We are so pleased to be working with Martin and the Veritas team. We share a vision for empowering providers in delivering the highest quality care. The Lightbeam Health analytics platform enables that vision by simplifying the complexity of population health management. It provides visibility to insights at the point of care and enables more effective coordination of care. We look forward to a bright future with Veritas," said Jerry Shultz, President of Lightbeam Health.
