Elsevier selected to publish The American Journal of the Medical Sciences

The American Journal of the Medical Sciences to be published by Elsevier

Elsevier, a world-leading provider of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, has announced that it has been selected by the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation (SSCI) to publish its journal, The American Journal of the Medical Sciences, as of January 2016.

The American Journal of the Medical Sciences (AJMS), founded in 1820, is the 2nd oldest medical journal in the United States. On a monthly basis AJMS publishes peer-reviewed articles in the field of internal medicine and its subspecialties, which include original clinical and basic science investigations, review articles, and case-letters.

Dr. David W. Ploth, Editor-in-Chief of The American Journal of the Medical Sciences, said, "The American Journal of the Medical Sciences and its parent organization, the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation, are delighted to announce our publishing agreement Elsevier.
