Clinical measurement options

For quicker fitting of hearing aids, the most comfortable threshold level (MCL) can be easily defined for the SRT and SDT scores using recorded and live speech testing. Important clinical tests (e.g. SISI, Tone Decay, ABLB) needed for diagnosing hearing disorders, including cochlear and retrocochlear hearing loss, are also included in the Model 270+. The operator can deliver best-in-class patient care with the help of additional counseling tools like the Master Hearing Aid (MHA) and Hearing Level Simulator (HLS).

Supportive

All of the specifications needed for both screening and diagnostic audiometry are included in this portable audiometer. There are tests for air and bone conduction that can be done manually or automatically (Hughson Westlake and Békésy), as well as useful tools to help users identify hearing loss issues quickly and effectively.

The all-in-one application of the Model 270+ audiometer comes with everything users need, making it ready for testing. Users can become familiar with the Model 270+’s fundamental functions in less than five minutes.

Ergonomic design

A constant overview of the test position is made possible by the Model 270+’s thoughtfully designed layout, which includes premium-quality rotary controls, silent touch buttons, and illuminated light ring indicators representing the selected ear. It also ensures optimal hand placement.

This user-friendly tool, which is perfect for both seasoned testing professionals and beginners, guides users through time-saving test protocols with an intuitive six-key (left-to-right) process to define test routines.

Data management

Test results can be printed out right away or stored for later processing with the included Amplisuite software, thanks to the internal memory feature. Amplisuite makes it easy to download results for management and processing using practical counseling tools like banana/spectum.

The audiometer also provides single-click integration with third-party Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as Noah and OtoAccess®, allowing for the easy transmission of findings and data, resulting in outstanding workflow efficiency.

Masking assistant

It is not always clear when to use masking in audiometric testing and at what sound level. The integrated masking assistant function of the Model 270+ not only determines when to apply masking levels, but also determines whether the stimulus's volume is ideal, excessively loud, or excessively soft.

This guarantees an entirely precise measurement. The Model 270+ can also be configured for automated testing, which automatically applies masking levels for bone and air conduction when necessary.
