TeleBreather is a remote, electronic, handheld device that one can use at home to test how well the lungs are working. It accurately measures various volumes of air that can forcibly expel from the lungs during exhalation, as well as the speed with which exhaled. SHL Telemedicine provides this device as part of its telemedicine service to those of its users suffering from respiratory problems and/or from chronic lung conditions affecting air movement in the lung’s small airways, such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
