New interactive on-line medical liability crisis map of the United States

The AMA on May 27 released an interactive version of its medical liability crisis map of the United States. By clicking on any of the 19 red states in crisis, users get instant access to background information on how the crisis affects that state, including patient and physician stories, state law analysis and contact information for the AMA and the state medical society.

The AMA strongly supports H.R. 4280, the Help Efficient, Accessible, Low-Cost, Timely Health Care (HEALTH) Act of 2004, which passed the U.S. House on May 12.
