PacifiCord to conduct free prenatal classes in San Diego from September 2009

Dedicated to serving the private cord blood banking needs of Southern California, PacifiCord (www.pacificord.com) today announced it will be offering free prenatal classes in San Diego starting September 9, 2009. This will be PacifiCord’s fourth prenatal class location in Southern California. Currently, PacifiCord holds free prenatal classes in Sherman Oaks, Santa Monica, as well as its Irvine, Calif., headquarters. Some of the most popular classes offered in each location include preparation for childbirth, breastfeeding basics, and baby care basics.

“San Diego is a great city, full of young, growing families. By offering free prenatal classes, PacifiCord has a great opportunity to connect with and provide a valuable service to the greater San Diego community while also educating them of their cord blood banking options,” said Wendy Spry, LVN, CPSS and Healthcare Educator at PacifiCord.

“PacifiCord’s business is rooted in providing an unparalleled level of service to expectant parents,” said Bob Kurilko, president and CEO of PacifiCord. “Providing free prenatal classes is a natural extension of our Cord Blood Concierge™ Service that includes free in-person consultations, complementary tours of our working laboratory and hand-couriered cord blood pick-up for families in the Southern California area.”
