The White House staff continues its tireless work on health care reform as President Obama vacations on Martha's Vineyard, The New York Times reports.
"The president, who spent part of his morning on the tennis court and nearly all of the afternoon on the golf course, might be in touch by telephone with some key members of the Senate Finance Committee. But administration officials said the bulk of the health care work this week would be done by Nancy-Ann DeParle, the director of the White House health care office" (Zeleny, 8/24).
