NRHA Services Corporation selects Amerinet as its “Provider of Choice”

In recognition of their commitment to helping rural healthcare providers reduce costs and improve quality, Amerinet, a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization, has been named a “Provider of Choice” by the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) Services Corporation.

“Amerinet has been a vital partner in advancing rural healthcare,” said Larry Bedell, executive director of NRHA Services Corporation. “In these challenging times for affordable, quality healthcare delivery, we need a provider of choice who understands our members and can help us improve the health of 62 million rural Americans.”

As the only GPO Provider of Choice for NRHA Services Corporation, Amerinet will work with the more than 18,000 NRHA members to offer resources and solutions that enhance the healthcare options of rural Americans. The partnership will build upon current initiatives, including the opportunity to:

  • Cultivate an Amerinet/NRHA Member Advisory Council intended to gain a better understanding of the needs and purchasing habits of rural healthcare facilities.
  • Advance a program linking NRHA membership to Amerinet’s Best Practice repository and expand a best practice collaborative for rural healthcare providers in the areas of quality, education, financial, clinical and operational efficiencies.
  • Broaden a customized approach to cost savings utilizing a portfolio of tools, resources and contracting solutions built specifically for the rural healthcare market.

“The challenges faced by rural healthcare providers, critical access hospitals and community health centers vary greatly from those in urban areas,” said Todd Ebert, president and CEO of Amerinet. “Amerinet shares the NRHA’s mission of improving the health and well-being of rural Americans, and has the expertise and tools to collaborate on customized initiatives to reduce costs and improve healthcare quality for their membership.”
