Disposable Grind-No-More dental night protector launched by Plackers

Plackers(R), makers of the first disposable dental flosser, expands its line of convenient home dental care products with the Grind-No-More(R) Night Protector, the first disposable, ready-to-use night protector on the market that combats bruxism, commonly known as teeth grinding.

An estimated 60 million adults currently grind their teeth and dental expert Dr. Nancy Rosen said on a recent Good Morning America appearance that bruxism cases are significantly increasing due to stress and anxiety from the down economy. Teeth grinding and clenching can create up to 250 pounds of pressure on teeth, causing enormous amounts of irreversible damage, including worn enamel and loss of tooth shape.

Night protectors like Grind-No-More are a proven way to help treat bruxism and protect teeth. While guards from a dentist office can cost hundreds of dollars and require continuous cleaning, Grind-No-More offers a hygienic, disposable alternative that comes ready to use without boiling, molding or messy cleaning. Each protector can be used for up to three nights.

The rating I put was an accident. My true rating on this is 0! I just tried to click on the rating in order to rate it. I am a Dental Assistant and wear a night guard because of both TMJ and grinding. These do the trick for keeping your teeth apart but because they don't mold to your teeth THEY WILL EFFECT YOUR BITE!! I have had to have my boss adjust by bite twice now and I have only wore them 3 times. I refuse to wear them anymore and I am having a professional one made. Those are very expensive though so if you do need one and want to buy from stores make sure it molds to the shape of your teeth!! There are lots out there that do, don't get these.
