Elsevier announces new publishing partnership with CCHSE

Elsevier, world-leading publisher of scientific, technical and medical information products and services, is pleased to announce a new publishing partnership with the Canadian College of Health Service Executives (CCHSE). The College's official journal, Healthcare Management Forum (HMF), will be published by Elsevier beginning in 2010.

Launched in 1988, Healthcare Management Forum is a trusted resource for innovative solutions and leading practices related to health leadership. Widely recognized for its high-quality contributions and rigorous review process, HMF serves the needs of a diverse and changing health leadership community by linking scholarly inquiry with new ways of thinking about professional practice.

Managing Editor, Laurie Wilson, commented, "We are delighted about this new relationship. Working with Elsevier, HMF will continue to thrive and expand as a forum for information exchange about vital topics in the field to the benefit of both our authors and readership."

An eminent Editorial Board is led by Editor-in-Chief Kevin Mercer, FCCHSE, District Manager of ParaMed Home Health Care. "One of the primary goals of our journal is to guide decision-making at the highest levels," stated Mercer. "In today's healthcare environment, senior leaders must have the skills and experience to translate knowledge into action. They need to know about the latest developments to foster innovation and support staff. The Editorial Board and I look forward to working with Elsevier to communicate this critical information to the widest possible audience."

Healthcare Management Forum publishes four times annually with issues appearing in April, July, October and December. Elsevier will begin publication with Volume 23 (2010). Several sections of front matter, the featured article and all abstracts will appear in English and French. The Journal is currently indexed and abstracted in MEDLINE and PubMed.

Anthony F. Trioli, Senior Publisher, Health Professions Journals at Elsevier, commented, "We welcome the opportunity to partner with CCHSE and are pleased to be able to add a journal of this calibre to complement our healthcare portfolio."
