Blog emphasizes the importance of healthcare goals

It's true that the devil is in the details, but if you get so focused on the details that you forget about the outcome you're trying to create, then whatever you're doing, however well the "process" worked, and however well your meetings went, you are at risk of failure.

Today healthcare is at the forefront of the American politic - but even here, the real goals are not addressed. It's not about a public option or tort reform or even budgets. The real goal has to be a healthier nation - period. None of these small issues matter if you forget about the big one! For example - the current system is more successful when more people are sick!? How does that motivate the right outcomes??
