Briefing is the second in a three-part series on "Achieving Recovery Through Discovery"
The Council for American Medical Innovation will host a breakfast briefing on Capitol Hill titled "Translational Research - From Bench to Bedside." Health policy experts will explore important changes needed to improve the process of development and approval for safe and effective drugs, biologics, medical devices and diagnostics. The Council believes a robust infrastructure for translational research that transforms clinical research into practical treatments quickly and efficiently is critical to ensuring new, life-saving medical treatments reach the market.
This is the second in a three-part briefing series examining the role of public policy in promoting medical innovation to help our nation recover from health and economic crises.
