Looking to better safeguard and monitor private patient data in transit, Insurers Administrative Corporation (IAC) chose Axway’s SecureTransport™ solution with Synchrony™ Sentinel. IAC chose Axway SecureTransport to protect sensitive health and billing information between insurance companies and medical facilities. Axway’s Sentinel will help IAC gain unprecedented visibility across all file transfers. IAC, one of the nation’s largest third-party administrators (TPA)¹ and a wholly owned subsidiary of The IHC Group, is in the process of deploying the solution across all IAC departments.
When planning to replace their proprietary file transfer protocol (FTP) system, IAC decided to implement a robust managed file transfer (MFT) solution. IAC conducted an intensive review of MFT solutions, during which they consulted several leading industry analyst firms.
