RED Light energy drink aims to add more corporate accounts

In a market saturated with energy drinks and shots, entrepreneur Paul Ebrahimian knew he was in for a challenge when he founded RED Light(R). However, he had the recipe for a great-tasting beverage, a smart business plan in place and the marketing vision to position RED Light as THE drink of choice--not just for energy, but also as an elixir.

Available in regular and sugar free, RED Light, the Original Seduction(TM) offers a unique blend of ingredients, including rare fruits such as Brazilian Acerola and Schizandra. High in Vitamin C, Brazilian Acerola has intense antioxidant potency, containing thirty-two times the amount that of orange juice. Schizandra, a woody vine native to China and Japan, is rich in minerals, vitamins and essential oils. With a long history of medicinal use, it has been known to treat everything from acne to coronary disease and is also known to enhance stamina and increase libido. RED Light's refreshing concoction contains only 90 mg of caffeine (about 1 cup of coffee) and tastes great as a mixer with all types of spirits.

When RED Light launched in May 2009, Ebrahimian hired the PR/Marketing firm, Pistol & Stamen to assist in laying out the consumer and retail groundwork and sold $25k worth of product for the month. Steady increases of 10-15% per month over the past 4 months laid the foundation for the next step to brand success. The golden opportunity arrived at a golf charity tournament in August 2009. It was there that doors opened--7-11 doors to be exact. A power luncheon with twenty-five board members led to sales in fifty 7-11 stores. Ebrahimian now has his eye on adding six hundred more.

With a sales projection of $350k for the first year, Paul Ebrahimian will continue to reach out to more corporate accounts, as well as offer promotions and giveaways for his unique beverage. His product is already loved by celebrities from coast to coast. RED Light was all the rage at the Teen Choice Awards and MTV Music Video Awards, is on the sets of Gossip Girl and 90210, keeps the boys of Entourage hydrated and is offered to guests in the green room at the MTV studios in Times Square. Next up...the Primetime Emmy Awards, Art Basel and the Sundance Film Festival '10.
