Congressional townhall panel to discuss the economic and moral implications of health care reform

This Friday, September 18th at 9:50 am, FRC Action will host a Congressional townhall panel that will discuss the economic and moral implications of health care reform. The panel will be a part of the fourth annual Values Voter Summit and will feature Congressman Tom Price (R-GA), Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN), and Congressman Chris Smith (R-NJ). The panel will also take questions from the audience.

The panel is just one highlight of a packed schedule. Many prominent conservatives will speak at the Summit including Governors Rick Perry (R-TX) and Tim Pawlenty (R-MN), former Governors Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), Reps. John Boehner (R-OH), Eric Cantor (R-VA), Mike Pence (R-IN), and Roy Blunt (R-MO), Bill O'Reilly, former Miss California Carrie Prejean, Bill Bennett, actor Stephen Baldwin, best-selling author Joel Rosenberg, Phyllis Schlafly, Ken Blackwell, Star Parker, Lila Rose, and many more.

FRC Action's Values Voter Summit is cosponsored by the American Family Association, Focus on the Family Action, American Values, Family Research Council, and The Heritage Foundation. The Summit will be held September 18-20 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C. A presidential straw poll, exhibit hall, book signings, New Media Row sponsored by the National Organization for Marriage, and much more will be packed into this three-day conference. On Saturday evening, Phyllis Schlafly will be honored at a gala dinner and receive the third annual James C. Dobson Vision and Leadership Award.
