Wisconsin Medical College to implement the Quantros SRM solution to manage adverse events and claims

The Medical College of Wisconsin (Medical College), a private medical school with more than 1,100 physicians, in Milwaukee, WI, has selected the Quantros Safety and Risk Management (SRM) solution to track, manage and report adverse and near-miss events, as well as to manage the entire claims process. The Quantros Event Manager (EM) and Claims Manager (CM) modules, part of the SRM solution, were chosen from among seven different vendors.

"When we reviewed the Quantros solution, the selection team agreed that the user interface was easy to view and navigate and the flow and management of events is similar to how the Medical College currently handles events. Our interactions with the Quantros team were all positive and the pricing was favorable," states Jonathan Wertz, Director of the Medical College's Risk Management Department. "It is a great choice for us and we already have the implementation plan developed. We look forward to using an automated solution to manage events and claims. "

Quantros SRM is a comprehensive platform of electronic event reporting, tracking, monitoring and workflow management tools. Quantros EM will help the Medical College of Wisconsin gather data to identify safety issues and track intervention performance in real time. Quantros CM will help achieve cost savings associated with claims reserves accuracy and increased productivity in event management.
