Arizona Heart Institute partners with Arizona Research Center for the advancement of cardiovascular therapies

Arizona Heart Institute, a world leading medical facility specializing in diagnosis, treatment and prevention of heart and vascular disease, and Arizona Research Center, a dedicated provider of clinical research studies, announce a partnership in the advancement of cardiovascular therapies.

In working together, Arizona Research Center will have access to patients who may qualify for pharmaceutical and device research studies. In return, Arizona Heart Institute will be in a position to expand its clinic research program to include large, multi-center drug and medical device trials, but also provides the opportunity to pursue genomics and epigenetics research, an area of strong potential to diagnose and treat diseases before symptoms present.

According to Joseph Gimbel, MD, founder and medical director of Arizona Research Center, "Partnering with Arizona Heart Institute creates an exciting synergy joining the thousands of cardiovascular patients seeking innovative treatment options, with the streamlined research expertise of Arizona Research Center. We look forward to this exciting and unique opportunity."

"We are fortunate to work with Arizona Research Center," said Dr. Edward B. Diethrich, founder and medical director of Arizona Heart Institute and Arizona Heart Hospital. "Their extensive research experience and highly-qualified, hands-on staff complements our long-standing tradition of translating the future into a reality for patients worldwide," continued Diethrich. "Through dedication, education, and innovation, we are committed to treating and even reversing cardiovascular disease, and our patients are among the first to benefit."
