CommonHealth expands its global presence with new office in Japan

CommonHealth (www.commonhealth.com), a WPP (NASDAQ: WPPGY) (www.wpp.com) company and the world's leading healthcare-communications network, formally announced today it has expanded its global presence with the opening of its office in Tokyo, Japan -- CommonHealth Kyowa.

Since 1997, CommonHealth has had an informal working relationship with Kyowa Kikaku, the healthcare communications agency within ASATSU-DK Inc., a sister WPP company. This full partnering between CommonHealth and Kyowa Kikaku will allow both companies to further their worldwide reach, enhancing CommonHealth's presence in the Japanese market and Kyowa Kikaku's presence in the United States, allowing CommonHealth to broaden its offerings to an increasingly global clientele.

"We look forward to working closely with our Tokyo-based colleagues," noted David Chapman, managing partner of CommonHealth, responsible for overseeing the network's professional agencies and global offices. "Both CommonHealth and Kyowa Kikaku are well-established organizations with very favorable reputations. We plan to bring that same level of quality, expertise and service to our new clients through our collaborative efforts, making CommonHealth Kyowa a healthcare marketing resource for all looking to expand their reach in the Asian-Pacific arena."
