The outcome of the current healthcare legislation is uncertain, but one matter is clear: Americans need to get healthier. From childhood obesity to alarming rates of clinical depression among adults, people across the U.S. have been confronted with the consequences of lives off-balance.
"If there's anything we can learn from the healthcare crisis, it's that over-emphasizing one part of ourselves, like working too hard, and neglecting others, like exercise and diet, can wreak havoc on literally the entire U.S. economy," says Dr. Robert Puff, an international speaker, holistic success expert, author, and co-host of The Holistic Success Show, a web-based TV program that will premiere on Wednesday, November 11th at 7:00 p.m.
The Holistic Success Show highlights what Dr. Puff and his co-host, Elizabeth Lozano, M.A., holistic health expert, therapist, speaker, and author, have learned counseling countless individuals who lead busy, stressful lives. The two are at the forefront of the holistic health movement, which balances career, family, community engagement, physical health, and emotional well-being. They see rising healthcare costs and obesity as symptoms of a society in need of new solutions to pressing problems. "Our show's goal is to reach out to more people than we ever could in our Southern California offices. Now everyone can learn the wonders of being a healthy, vibrant human being, regardless of your present circumstances," says Dr. Puff.
Every week The Holistic Success Show will help viewers find peace in the present moment, despite the difficulties of daily life. In addition to giving regular advice on living a holistic lifestyle, they will interview top professionals who will provide their insights into leading a successful life.
Topics for the premier episode are: (1) How to find balance and harmony in a hectic day, and (2) How to cope with an out-of work spouse who's struggling with his or her self-esteem. The first guest will be Christiana Avaness, author of "Living Beyond Organic." Future guests include Dr. Anna Maria Prezio, author and Feng Shui consultant; Vladana Zorjan-Stubb, a board-certified music therapist, who explored and developed stress management and relaxation techniques using music; and Myra Nourmand, the "First Lady of Beverly Hills Real Estate," who wrote "From Homemaker to Breadwinner."
The show will not sidestep the demands of modern life. According to Dr. Puff, while holistic health may seem impossible in our fast-paced, results-oriented society, it is available to everyone, as long as you have an open mind and an expert guiding you.
