Lifestyle Hearing Corporation has officially launched Canada's first nationwide hearing healthcare structure called the Lifestyle Hearing Network. This initiative aims to provide Canadians coast to coast with a consistent source of premium medical clinics devoted to audiology.
The network was created to promote Canadian clinics that are committed to yielding thorough and proficient diagnostics services related to Canadians. It was also created to promote clinics with the most advanced professional education, treatment counseling and clinical protocols related to hearing healthcare. Currently, not all hearing healthcare centers in Canada are administering themselves within such a medical framework.
1 in 7 Canadians suffer from some form of hearing loss. Now more than ever we are inundated with noise from the day we are born. This means that hearing problems are occurring at a much younger age, and unfortunately we are not taking the proper restorative measures.
"Untreated hearing loss can lead to a person feeling isolated from family and friends. We see patients after they have been fitted with a hearing aid and they are so much happier because they are doing better at work and able to fulfill an active social life simply by hearing their environment." Expressed Debbie Zelisko, Audiologist and Vice President of the Lifestye Hearing Network.
This is why it is increasingly important for Canadians to include a thorough hearing test as part of their yearly health check. Lifestyle Hearing wants to ensure that Canadians know which clinics can provide them with the best care possible.
"Clinicians joining the Lifestyle Hearing Network are hearing healthcare leaders in their communities committed to highest standards of patient care. The Network provides them with a framework to promote healthy living through healthy hearing within their communities," said Jeffrey Geigel, Founder and President of Lifestyle Hearing.
