Health IT expert to serve as moderator at World Healthcare Innovation & Technology Keynote Panel

Health IT connectivity expert John Feikema has been slated to moderate a keynote panel at the 2009 Annual World Healthcare Innovation and Technology Congress being held November 8-10, 2009, in Washington, DC.

Feikema will serve as moderator for a panel discussing: The Next Wave of Connectivity – Connecting all the Pieces of the Puzzle: Healthcare Reform, Stimulus Dollars, Medical Devices, and Patients. The connectivity panel is scheduled for 2:30 pm on Tuesday, November 10th, and immediately follows the three-day conference’s keynote address given by President Bill Clinton.

As moderator, Feikema will make opening remarks and lead the discussion for a prominent panel of industry experts in exploring the true meaning of connectivity through data integration. The panel includes: Julian M. Goldman, MD, Medical Director, Partners HealthCare Biomedical Engineering; Charles Parker, Executive Director, Continua Health Alliance; Kaveh Safavi, Vice President and Global Lead, Healthcare Practice Internet Business Solutions Group, Cisco; and Stan Kachnowski, Chair, Healthcare Innovation Technology Lab, Columbia University.
