Oberthur Technologies - a global leader in the delivery of high security solutions to the Identity market - has obtained several common criteria certifications dedicated to key identity governmental products in 2009: Electronic passports, Governmental Multi-application cards and European Citizen Cards.
- Electronic passports:
Module ID-One ePass version 2.1 is certified at the level EAL4+ and compliant for Basic Access Control and Extended Access Control uses. Launched in 2004, ID-One ePass platform has been selected for the first ICAO passport and since has been chosen by 12 countries for biometric passports
- Multi-application Card:
ID-One Cosmo version 7 is certified at the level EAL5+. Cosmo v7 is available in a broad portofolio of twelve cards covering all interfaces, memory configuration and recent cryptographic features. It complies with the latest Java Card and Global Platform specifications. With this open platform certification, Oberthur is able to ensure the security of the platform and of any application loaded.
- European Citizen Card:
ID-One IAS-ECC is compliant to the latest version of the European Citizen Card and electronic signature standards. The card is at the end of its certification for the level EAL4+ according to the Electronic Signature[1] both in contact and contactless mode. Oberthur offers the best solution in any citizen projects - electronic identity cards, health cards, resident permits - in terms of security and interoperability.
Those major certifications affirm Oberthur Technologies' strategy to always provide its government customers products with a high level of security and fully compliant to standards.
These certificates have been delivered by the French ANSSI (French Network and Information Security Agency). They will be demonstrated at Cartes & Identification 2009 - France on Oberthur Technologies booth hall 3 (3G001).
