Sentillion, whose identity and access management (IAM) solutions are the most widely implemented in healthcare, today announced that over 500,000 users are live and productively using its single sign-on and context management solutions. Leading healthcare organizations, ranging from single facilities to large, complex, multi-state health systems are part of a 160+ customer community that has deployed Sentillion’s IAM solutions enterprise-wide in over 1,000 hospitals.
“As a software company, focused exclusively on the unique environments and challenges of the healthcare industry, Sentillion believes that the true measure of our performance is tied directly to the number of “live” caregivers who use our solutions daily as part of the patient care delivery process,” said Paul Roscoe, president of Sentillion. “Reaching this historic live user milestone is a testament to the dedication and success of our customers, for it was attained only through their commitment to excellence in improving caregiver satisfaction and workflow. Further, we applaud our customers for taking the lead in defining, quite literally, what “meaningful use” means within their respective organizations and utilizing IAM technologies as a catalyst to accelerate both the implementation and adoption of Electronic Health Record Systems.”
Some of Sentillion’s longstanding customers include The Methodist Hospital System, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, IASIS Healthcare, Summa Health System and Texas Children’s Hospital. Sentillion is responsible for the largest single sign-on deployment in healthcare, which presently provides access to 205 clinical and business applications for 61,000 users across 60 hospitals.
