Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. (OTC:SSHS), a provider of corporate, industrial and residential security solutions, announces that its Premier Background Search (PBS), a SEARCHglobal partnership (www.PBS-USA.com), has officially launched its marketing program to the massive healthcare market and has subscribed Martin Fletcher and Associates (www.medfuture.com) as its first major client for PBS’ medical division.
Laurie Foley, Director of Business Development for PBS, stated, “Most of my relationships within the healthcare market have been created over the past 20 years and I see a huge potential for PBS here. It is critical for healthcare service providers to have sound background information on their employees and contractors.” Foley added, “We are building a division of PBS that caters to the medical community exclusively. There are certain databases that healthcare providers report historical information to, concerning medical staffing employees, and that information will be included in our final background submittals to our clients. Our new web-based technology will be programmed to acquire this information from approved sources and reported to our system.”
R. Michael Lagow, CEO for Safeguard, said, “We are designing PBS to appeal to large commercial end-users and corporate clients. Even though a portion of our revenue is derived from the consumer base, we see the largest blocks of revenue generated from corporate clients that have a need to process hundreds of backgrounds monthly through a single service provider like PBS. We are listening to our clients and programming special applications for them. This allows us to provide a technology-based service, but an ‘insta-check’ customized report that is more useful to the corporate client and their specific needs.” Lagow added, “We expect the medical vertical to add $225K a quarter to our revenues in 2010. The growth in this (healthcare) market is booming and quick access to sound background information is critical to be able to hire competent employees.”
