AbleNet, Inc. announces a new program to offer Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance funding support through Talk To Me Technologies, LLC. This service is effective December 2009 for the AbleNet SuperTalker™ progressive communicator and FL4SH™ scanning communicator products.
“Talk To Me Technologies is expert at assisting customers to get funding through Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance and we look forward to the help they will be able to offer our customers,” said Jen Thalhuber, CEO of AbleNet Inc. “Without these funding resources many people with severe disabilities would not be able to obtain communications tools such as the SuperTalker™ and FL4SH™, creating additional hardship and more limits to their ability to effectively communicate.”
“We are delighted to provide this service for AbleNet,” states Matt Dunning, CEO of Talk To Me Technologies. “Core to our mission is to assure that every person with disability has access to the leading speech-generating devices, which often means helping them to navigate both government and private insurance funding resources.”
The digital technology of SuperTalker provides crystal-clear sound and up to 25 percent more battery life. It is easy to learn and use, yet powerful enough to be the only voice output device many users need. SuperTalker features 16 minutes of recording time and a total of eight levels of messaging capability. AT Specialists find SuperTalker particularly useful as a portable assessment tool.
FL4SH™ scanning communicator helps special education and AAC professionals requiring a highly adaptable scanning communicator that can address a variety of situations, both in and out of the classroom. FL4SH features a unique out-of-the-box experience which includes well thought-out activities for educators and students and a simple tutorial to get it up and running in less than five minutes.
