Fort Worth Endoscopy Center selects Wolters Kluwer Health's ProVation software

Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading global provider of information for healthcare professionals and students, announced today that Fort Worth Endoscopy Center has selected its ProVation® MD software for procedure documentation and coding, and its ProVation® EHR electronic health record and patient charting solution.

“We are pleased that they have selected ProVation software, which combines rich data reporting and quality tracking capabilities, to document and code and measure the effectiveness of procedures performed at their facility.”

ProVation EHR is an electronic health record designed for busy, cost-conscious Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). It offers robust electronic documentation and document imaging for all elements of the patient encounter, from past records to procedure documentation to follow-up care. With ProVation EHR, ASCs have affordable access to a single, patient-centric documentation system that eliminates printing and chart storage costs and streamlines workflow. ProVation MD, available for the full range of ASC specialties, replaces dictation and transcription and allows physicians to efficiently document procedures at the point of care. ProVation software produces complete, coding-ready and image-enhanced procedure notes that result in greater efficiency, increased profitability and clinician satisfaction.

Fort Worth Endoscopy Center (FWEC) is an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) designed primarily for outpatient gastrointestinal endoscopy procedures. Since FWEC opened in 1994, it has maintained accreditation by either the Joint Commission or the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) has also recognized the center as part of its program dedicated to promoting quality in endoscopy. The ASGE Endoscopy Unit Recognition Program honors endoscopy units that follow the ASGE guidelines on privileging, quality assurance, endoscopy reprocessing and CDC infection control guidelines. FWEC is owned by the physicians of the Fort Worth Endoscopy Center Partners, LP and Surgical Care Affiliates (SCA).

“Forth Worth Endoscopy Center is dedicated to measuring and improving the quality and outcomes of endoscopic procedures,” said Arvind Subramanian, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Health Clinical Solutions division. “We are pleased that they have selected ProVation software, which combines rich data reporting and quality tracking capabilities, to document and code and measure the effectiveness of procedures performed at their facility.”
