Laurus Technologies introduces comprehensive set of IT support and maintenance services

Laurus Technologies, an IT consulting and systems integration firm based in Itasca, Ill., announced today the introduction of a comprehensive set of IT support and maintenance services. The services cover the spectrum of information technology products ranging from labor-only to full, on-site hardware maintenance, parts replacement, depot services and spares. The new services enable customers to reduce IT maintenance costs by up to 50 percent while freeing up resources for other business needs.

Laurus Technologies Support Services helps companies fiscally in several key categories. Companies can allocate staff based on the most profitable or strategically important initiatives, focusing human resources on their core business. Costs are reduced by extending the useful life of technology via improved maintenance and better return on capital assets. Recovery from outages and downtime is reduced so revenue-generating employees are back online quickly, enhancing productivity, especially for remote, home-based or branch-office employees.

“One of the major challenges we face is the needs of our customers’ virtual workers, regional offices and other off-campus users,” said Irwin Teodoro, Director of Engineering at Laurus Technologies. “Through our network of engineers and consultants, we can provide geographic coverage across the U.S. and Canada with up to 24,000 field engineers available.”

The announcement marks the latest initiative from Laurus Technologies to expand its services business. In addition to the Support Services, Laurus Technologies offers managed backup, archiving, SaaS Master Data Management for SAP and Oracle solutions.
