Top pharmaceutical companies choose Cegedim Dendrite's cMDM solution

Cegedim Dendrite today announced that four prominent Life Sciences companies have contracted for its Customer Master Data Management (cMDM) solution, Nucleus as a Service, within the last four months. Three of the four are among the world’s top-25 pharmaceutical companies and the fourth is a mid-sized specialty pharmaceutical company. Cegedim Dendrite is the leading provider of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Marketing, Regulatory Compliance and Data Optimization solutions designed specifically for the Life Sciences industry.

Nucleus as a Service addresses the industry-wide challenge of maintaining a current and accurate database of customers and prospects. Most Life Sciences companies have multiple, disparate systems containing many versions of the same contact. Internal resources struggle with the time consuming and ongoing task of creating and maintaining a single, clean database for use by their marketing, sales and compliance organizations.

Cegedim Dendrite’s Nucleus as a Service relieves the burden on internal resources by automating innovative cMDM processes. The service establishes a master definition of the customer in a centralized repository and implements data governance and quality processes while linking in data verification and validation services to maintain and manage master entities. It creates accurate master customer views to help drive business decisions.

”We serve all segments of the Life Sciences industry – companies of different sizes, commercial models and specialties,” explained Bill Buzzeo, Cegedim Dendrite VP & GM, Compliance and OneKey Solutions. “But the one thing they all have in common, as demonstrated by our four new clients, is that they realize the need and value of a clean, single view of their customers across the enterprise for various reasons including more targeted and efficient marketing, improved sales operations and regulatory compliance. Nucleus was the first Life Sciences specific cMDM solution on the market and Cegedim Dendrite continues to invest in the product to meet our customers’ future master data management requirements.”

Cegedim Dendrite attributes the strong traction of Nucleus to the fact that it was recently released in 2009 in the “as-a-Service” delivery model. The solution has been commercially available since 1997 in the two traditional license models – on-premises (client hosted) and off-premises (Cegedim Dendrite hosted). According to Buzzeo, “The solution lends itself to the service delivery model. It makes financial and logistical sense for companies to have the data management and exception management processes performed off-site. However, we still offer the different delivery models as part of our company’s commitment to providing our customers with solutions that best fit their business needs.”
