The Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission issued an order today dismissing a racial discrimination complaint filed by Maria Thompson-White of Merchantville, New Jersey, against her former employer, Lycoming House, a drug addiction treatment center in Philadelphia.
Thompson-White filed a complaint against Lycoming House, a subsidiary of Firetree Ltd., alleging that it had discharged her because of her race, African-American. After a public hearing on the matter, the commission found that Thompson-White had not produced sufficient evidence to support her claim.
