A ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening receptions for physicians, staff and invited community leaders, including Santa Monica City Council Member Gleam Davis, will take place on Thursday, Feb. 25, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Media are invited to attend and receive facility tours and health information and enjoy food and refreshments.

“As a Santa Monica City Council member, I am pleased to formally welcome the Tower Surgical Center and the Tower Wound Care Center of Santa Monica,” said Santa Monica Councilmember Gleam Davis.

“The availability of wound care and outpatient surgical procedures will certainly enhance the options available to the citizens of Santa Monica and the entire Southern California population, as health care providers are given an additional innovative facility to respond to the health care needs of our entire community.

“The driving force behind these new medical centers is Dr. Joel Aronowitz, whose noted work with breast cancer reconstruction and surgical techniques is world renowned. As founder of the Breast Preservation Foundation, Dr. Aronowitz is a leader in women's health education and the promotion of healthy educational choices for women, issues that are very important to all of us.”
