ReGear Life Sciences achieves preferred partner status with Genesis Rehab Services

ReGear Life Sciences, Inc. announces that it has been named a Preferred Partner to Genesis Rehab Services.

Being named a Preferred Partner means that Genesis Rehab patients now have access to a comfortable, easy-to-use product to treat their arthritis, pain, and other age-related issues, without having to leave their room or apartment.  ReGear gains access to, and is now available in, the elder care market through Genesis.  In addition, Genesis Rehab Services will introduce the ReBound Therapeutic Warming System in select markets over the course of 2010.

"We are delighted to achieve preferred partner status with Genesis. Their reputation in the rehabilitation and elder care market is outstanding.  This relationship will allow more patients in need to enjoy the therapeutic benefits of ReBound," said Karen Fry, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at ReGear.

According to Garry Pezzano, Vice President -- Clinical Operations for Genesis Rehab Services, "Since ReBound is portable, it allows our patients to have greater access to care.  Our therapists can take the ReBound devices into patients' rooms and apartments, giving them greater flexibility for treatment options when thermotherapy is indicated."

Fry added, "ReBound is ideally suited for patient populations in assisted living, independent living, and skilled nursing facilities and is in a class by itself due to its portability, size, safety, patient outcomes, and cost."
