The 12th European Congress of Endocrinology is taking place in Prague from 24-28 April 2010.
Over 2500 of the world's leading endocrinologists will meet to discuss the latest developments in hormone science. The topic of endocrinology covers all medical and scientific disciplines involving the study of hormones. This includes diabetes, obesity, drugs in sport, breast cancer, osteoporosis, endocrine disruptors, fertility and reproduction and pituitary and thyroid disease.
We have a total of 8 plenary lectures, 28 symposia, 16 meet the expert sessions, 2 debates and 8 oral communications sessions covering the most recent advances in endocrine research and patient care. Meeting highlights include plenary lectures on topics as diverse as thyroid cancer levels after Chernobyl to an update on the genetics of obesity. Symposia will cover a wide range of topics including bone cell biology, diabetes in pregnancy and the genetic basis of infertility to name but a few.
