Catalyst Pharmaceutical Partners' vigabatrin data to be presented at 41st ASAM conference

Catalyst Pharmaceutical Partners, Inc. (Nasdaq: CPRX) today announced that on Friday April 16th, Eugene C. Somoza, MD, PhD, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and VA Medical Center, Cincinnati, OH  will present a paper he authored along with Charles Gorodetzky, MD, PhD, Douglas Winship and Peggy Somoza, entitled: "A Multi-Site, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Clinical Trial to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Vigabatrin (VGB) for Treating Cocaine Dependence" at the American Society of Addiction Medicine's (ASAM) 41st Annual Medical-Scientific Conference in San Francisco, CA.

Dr. Somoza was the Coordinating Principal Investigator for the trial and will discuss data from Catalyst's U.S. Phase II trial evaluating CPP-109, Catalyst's form of vigabatrin, to treat cocaine addiction.  Further, the Company reported that the presentation materials from the conference will be posted on April 16th on the Company's website, www.catalystpharma.com, under "Events and Presentations."
