CompCare launches behavioral health services for a health plan in Texas

Comprehensive Care Corporation (CompCare) (OTCBB: CHCR) today announced the launching of its behavioral health services for a health plan in Texas.

“This new contract expands our presence in Texas where we have served CHIP and Medicaid plans for the past nine years. Our network of providers throughout the state will ensure continued accessibility and convenience for the plan's members.”

The multi-year contract began April 1, 2010 and is designed to ensure accessible, high-quality behavioral health services for approximately 84,000 of the health plan's Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Plan (CHIP) members.

Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer Clark Marcus said, "This new contract is further evidence of the company's continued success in Texas. That we continue to develop new partnerships and expand our public sector programs into new areas is a testimony to our personalized attention and specialized programs. We intend to continue cultivating new partnerships; add new, innovative and synergistic products; and expand our programs across new states adding value not only to our customers but their members."
