CNN: "When Dr. Linda Galloway learned she needed surgery to save her vision, she scheduled the procedure immediately with her opthamologist. And what an eye-opener it was - when the hospital bill arrived." The bill included a charge of $863 for a pair of disposable forceps, which cost $192 at a medical supply company.
