YesDTC acquires DRTV marketing rights to patented MediPendant medical alarm device

YesDTC Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: YESD), a direct-to-consumer global distributor and marketer of consumer goods and products, announced today, the Company has acquired the rights to market the patented MediPendant™ medical alarm device from Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: MDHI) via direct response television (DRTV).

As part of the agreement, YesDTC has become the primary U.S. representative with DRTV marketing rights to the innovative, patented, MediPendant™ medical alarm device.  YesDTC will begin production on the custom designed marketing campaign immediately, an effort that is being financed by Medical Alarm Concepts™.  Test marketing and rollout of the DRTV campaign is expected to begin in about 60 days.

Joe Noel, CEO of YesDTC Holdings, Inc., commented, "We know that several other companies offer personal emergency response products through a DRTV format and, for the most part, these campaigns appear to be highly successful.  We believe that the superior MediPendant™ technology, coupled with the extensive DRTV experience of Schulberg Media Works, could potentially overtake the sales of existing competitors that are well-known within the industry."

Medical Alarm Concepts™ offers a unique, patented, medical emergency alarm system that is different from all other personal emergency response (PERS) systems on the market today.  MDHI's MediPendant™ product offers several revolutionary and highly desirable features, including the ability to speak and listen to the operator directly through the pendant, an extended range of up to 600+ feet from the base station, which enables the user to move virtually anywhere in or around their home, and a call center staffed around the clock with EMT-certified operators.

Additionally, MediPendant's™ advanced call center technology allows for three-way calling between the operator, the user, and the dispatched first responders and/or a friend and family member. Currently, no other available PERS systems offer the benefit of three-way voice conferencing directly through the pendant. Finally, EMT-certified operators are guaranteed to stay on the line with the MediPendant™ user until the problem is resolved or help arrives.

Howard Teicher, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Medical Alarm Concepts™ commented, "We are very excited to partner with YesDTC for DRTV marketing and believe this campaign will be a significant success for our business.  We continue to promote the fact that the MediPendant™ is superior to other PERS solutions on the market, and that this differential will enable our product to excel in the marketplace. We have taken the existing technology that has been around for over 20 years, and made the improvements necessary to take it to the next level," says Teicher.
