The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM)
“The entire history of modern medicine can be documented through the NEJM Archive.”
- The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) has launched its new website NEJM.org, offering users a deeper, broader, and more engaging experience through improved search and navigation, specialty pages, interactive elements and a number of integrated multimedia features, and the NEJM Archive, which features the entire collection of past issues - over 150,000 articles, dating back to 1812 - in a searchable format.
- NEJM.org goes beyond the page to create a more interactive community, providing new ways for physicians to engage, teach, and interact online, ultimately improving patient care and the practice of medicine.
- The NEJM Archive provides complete online access to a rich history of modern medicine, including some of the most noteworthy and influential research ever published.
"We want physicians to come to our site to learn, comment, and interact," says Dr. Jeffrey Drazen, Editor-in-Chief. "This is an exciting opportunity for our readers to engage with NEJM on many levels. We're going beyond the page to create a more interactive community."
"We are so pleased to be able to make this incredible wealth of material so easily accessible," says Chris Lynch, Vice President for Publishing. "The entire history of modern medicine can be documented through the NEJM Archive."
