BIOTONE announces availability of Cocoa-Comfort Massage Balm

BIOTONE announces Cocoa-Comfort™ Massage Balm, one of the first balms for the professional massage therapy market. Created from a one-of-a-kind formulation whose leading ingredient Cocoa Butter is nature's ultimate hydrator, the new rich, thick balm gives a slight warming feel when applied at the same time it soothes and balances the skin to enhance its texture and tone. With its smooth glide and silky texture, Cocoa-Comfort Massage Balm provides longer workability to meet the needs of any massage modality.

“Cocoa Butter continues to be a very popular ingredient for use in massage lubricants because of its rich hydrating properties and calming, soothing light scent”

"Cocoa Butter continues to be a very popular ingredient for use in massage lubricants because of its rich hydrating properties and calming, soothing light scent," said Jean Shea, BIOTONE president. "Following the enormously positive response to our Cocoa-Comfort Massage Lotion, we wanted to provide yet another tool for massage therapists that included the healing and relaxing qualities of Cocoa Butter. We believe we have found the perfect offering in our unique Cocoa-Comfort Massage Balm, which can be used across a range of modalities, and because it has more glide than a creme, requires less reapplication."

In addition to Cocoa Butter, which contains natural antioxidants, Cocoa-Comfort Massage Balm includes several other natural ingredients and is paraben free. Avocado Oil, a leading ingredient, softens, soothes and protects the skin due to its high fat content and Vitamin A and C components. Soy Oil helps contribute to a more radiant skin by helping even skin tone and texture, while Aloe Vera promotes healing and is soothing to the skin.

Pricing and Availability

The new offering is available in a 14-ounce jar for $21.35 MSRP and a 32-ounce jar for $39.95 MSRP.
