Jenevieve Fisher to launch book on children living with cancer

Jenevieve Fisher is a children's author with specific expertise in childhood cancer.  Her first book "I'm a Kid Living with Cancer" will be launched during September,  which is Childhood Cancer Awareness month.  http://www.curesearch.org

To promote her new book and to raise awareness for Childhood Cancer Month, Ms. Fisher is touring ten western cities: Seattle, Sept. 1st and 2; Portland, Sept. 11,12; Sacramento, Sept. 13, 14, 15; San Francisco, Sept. 15,16, 17; Fresno, Sept. 18, 19; Los Angeles, Sept. 20 – 24; San Diego, Sept. 25; Phoenix, Sept. 27 – 29; Tucson, Sept. 30; and Las Vegas, Oct. 4.

Jenevieve Fisher knows what it means to live with cancer. At 22, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease. After a year of treatment, Jenevieve devoted her future and career to treating others with cancer. She earned her degree as a Radiation Oncology Therapist and committed herself to making a difference in the lives of children with cancer by bringing health education, encouragement, and hope to them as well as their families.

Her love of books, education, and children inspired her to create this series of books for children living with cancer.  According to Ms. Fisher, "Children deserve honest answers to their questions, and I celebrate my life by educating them through books."

Jenevieve Fisher is committed to raising funds for medical research. She is an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the National Childhood Cancer Foundation.
