Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy ranked #554 on Inc.'s Top 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies

Diplomat Specialty Pharmacy announced today they have earned a position of 554 on Inc. Magazine's exclusive, annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.

"We're proud to be recognized by Inc. again this year, earning a position of 554 in the nation, but if you dig a little deeper into Inc.'s numbers, the details are even more remarkable," stated Phil Hagerman, President and CEO of Diplomat. The details Hagerman refers to are:

  • Of the Top 100 companies nationally, Diplomat ranked #32 in Gross Dollars of Growth
  • Of the Top 100 companies in the Health Care category, Diplomat ranked #36 in Overall Growth
  • The list is ranked by percentage of growth over 3 years. Diplomat's growth is at 554% over the past 3 years.

"The leaders of the companies on this year's Inc. 5000 have figured out how to grow their businesses during the longest recession since the Great Depression," said Inc. president Bob LaPointe. "The 2010 Inc. 5000 showcases a particularly hardy group of entrepreneurs."

As the Michigan/Northwest Ohio winner in the Retail and Services category, Mr. Hagerman is now a candidate for the National Entrepreneur of the Year award, which will be announced at the annual Ernst & Young awards event in November 2010 in Palm Springs.
