ICF International awarded re-compete contract to provide IT, scientific support services to NCTR

ICF International (NASDAQ:ICFI), a leading provider of consulting services and technology solutions to government and commercial clients, has been awarded a $31.8 million re-compete contract by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to provide information technology (IT) and scientific support services to the National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR). The contract has a term of approximately five years, including four option years.

ICF will provide the NCTR center in Jefferson, Ark., with computational science/bioinformatics support; development, enhancement, conversion, and maintenance of application systems; systems support; statistical support; customer support; and experiment support for specific toxicology studies.

ICF specializes in identifying and quantifying the effects of environmental pollutants, such as metals, pesticides, and volatile organic compounds, on human health and the environment. ICF's experience also extends to food additives, food contact substances, microbial contaminants in food, and pharmaceutical residues in food. In-depth analyses provide clients with the information they need to determine health-protective and cost-effective solutions.
