Agilex named region's fastest growing company by Washington Business Journal

Agilex Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of mission and technology solutions to the national security, healthcare and public sectors, announced today it was named the region's fastest growing company by the Washington Business Journal.  In the company's first year of eligibility, Agilex debuted at the top of the list with reported three year growth of 372.32% and total revenue of $38M (FY2009).  This annual ranking covers the entire Washington, DC metro area.

"Agilex has established itself as one of the most successful launches in our industry's history," said Jay Nussbaum, chief operating officer, Agilex Technologies, Inc.  "Our success reflects the incredible commitment of our employees as well as the great confidence that our clients have shown in us.  Based on our performance in 2010, I am confident that we'll be one of the fastest growing companies next year as well."

Founded in March 2007, Agilex is an employee-owned government services provider offering program and technology management, software and solution development, and systems integration services. Agilex serves a number of federal agencies, including the Departments of Defense, Health & Human Services, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs. The company is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, and employs over two hundred and fifty professionals.

Earlier this year, the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) named Agilex the Washington, DC region's Hottest Emerging Government Contractor.  Agilex also reported the fastest three-year growth as it debuted on this year's Healthcare Informatics 100, which lists the nation's top health IT companies by revenue.

Rankings for the Washington Business Journal's Fastest Growing Companies program were based on each company's growth rate over the past three years.  To be eligible, companies must be based in the Washington, DC metro region, and were required to have a minimum income of $2M in 2007 and more than $10M in total revenue for 2009.  The full list is available here.
