Caldera Medical relocates to new, larger facility

Caldera Medical today announced its relocation to a new facility in Agoura Hills, CA. The former corporate headquarters of DTS (Nasdaq: DTSI) offers Caldera approximately eight times more square footage in anticipation of continued growth as well as capability expansion.

“not only will our new facility allow us to meet the growing demand for our products, but it will also allow us to more effectively build out supporting in-house infrastructure for our rapidly growing organization.”

Research & Development capabilities have been enhanced with specialized lab and prototype development areas, allowing for acceleration of product portfolio activities. The marketing and training department will benefit from a state of the art presentation theater that will be utilized for both surgeon advisory meetings and corporate events.

In addition, the move will provide the women's health medical device company with the ability to consolidate all corporate operations in a single location. "Given our growth, it became critical to realize an increase in operating efficiencies," commented Bryon L. Merade, Chairman & CEO, adding "not only will our new facility allow us to meet the growing demand for our products, but it will also allow us to more effectively build out supporting in-house infrastructure for our rapidly growing organization."

Compared to the same period of the prior year, Caldera grew its product sales 35% in the first nine months of 2010, as the company saw the initial benefits of an aggressive push to increase its direct field sales force.

Caldera Medical's new address is 5171 Clareton Drive, Agoura Hills, CA, 91301.
