Diaper need: How L.A. is helping moms...

The recent economic slump has meant tough times for many moms and their babies. A new study conducted found one in three moms suffer from "diaper need"—that is, they sometimes have to choose between buying diapers and other essentials such as food. Some moms reported they were washing out and reusing disposable diapers to stretch their budgets.

The Every Little Bottom campaign is doing its part by donating 20 million diapers to social-service charities all around the country. "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo is helping raise awareness of diaper need as a part of the Every Little Bottom campaign. Read more...
