Transitions Optical unveils golf video tips to raise awareness about healthy vision, sports performance

Transitions Optical, Inc. today announced it will unveil the first of a year-long series of golf video tips from PGA TOUR® players and professional trainers as part of its "Improve Your Vision, Improve Your Game Video Series."  The videos – approximately 60-90 seconds each – offer tips on enhancing your game as well as how to leverage vision to impact your game.  Topics ranging from putting alignment and swing improvement, to eye dominance tests and visual exercises will be highlighted.  The first video will debut today as part of Transitions Optical's on-site retail experience within the PGA TOUR merchandise area at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, Ariz.  A new video will be available every week by visiting www.improveyourvisionimproveyourgame.com.

The video series features PGA TOUR players Kenny Perry and Trevor Immelman, revealing insider tips and personal techniques straight from the course; the TOUR's youngest swing coach Matt Killen and certified kinesiologist/golf fitness specialist Tyler Parsons, sharing training advice they often give to the pros; and sports vision expert Dr. Larry Lampert, offering insight about the impact of vision on sports performance.

In addition to viewing the videos online, consumers can also learn more about the video series within Transitions' retail experience at key TOUR events this year. The Transitions Optical retail experience allows consumers to realize the benefits of Transitions® lenses first-hand and purchase Transitions' non-prescription sunwear products.  The retail experience will be on-site as part of the PGA TOUR merchandise area at six TOUR tournaments, including the Waste Management Phoenix Open (February 1-6), THE PLAYERS Championship (May 9-15), HP Byron Nelson Championship (May 23-29), Travelers Championship (June 20-26), The Barclays (Aug. 22-28) and THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca-Cola (Sept. 19-25) as well as seven TPC golf facilities throughout 2011.
