Huntington Insurance adds HealthWarehouse.com to prescription drug benefit program

HealthWarehouse.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HEWA), a leading retail mail-order pharmacy, and Huntington Insurance, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Huntington Bancshares Incorporated (Nasdaq: HBAN) and leader in employee benefits products, announced today a partnership that will give customers across the Midwest access to low-cost generic prescription medication.

HealthWarehouse.com will be added to the prescription drug benefit program that Huntington Insurance offers to self-insured companies, dramatically lowering prescription costs for more than 100 employers with 200,000 employees in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Under the new partnership, participating employers can offer their employees the option to have 300 prescription medications for $3.50 and 1,000 medications for under $25 delivered to their homes via free shipping.  The low cost will encourage patients to use prescription medication as directed and the mail-order program brings added convenience.

"At Huntington, we are committed to providing our customers with the best products and services that meet their needs," said Peter Dunlap, President of Huntington Insurance.  "We are pleased to add HealthWarehouse.com to our list of prescription drug providers, giving our self-insured customers an opportunity to drastically reduce their prescription drug expense."

"As consumers are finding they can save on their prescription medications from a legitimate US pharmacy, employers are also seeing the benefits," said Lalit Dhadphale, President and CEO of HealthWarehouse.com.  We look forward to working with quality partners such as Huntington Insurance to help employers lower ever-increasing prescription drug costs."
