Tunstall named HealthInvestors Telehealthcare provider of the year

Against stiff competition, Tunstall Healthcare, the world's leading provider of telehealthcare solutions has been named HealthInvestor's telehealth/telecare provider of the year at its 2011 London awards ceremony.

The award recognises Tunstall's innovative partnerships, and its approach to mainstreaming telehealthcare through the implementation of pioneering projects.

Tunstall received the award following a rigorous selection process, judged by some of the most highly regarded industry leaders including the Director of Provider Policy at the UK Department of Health and the Professor of Health Policy at Imperial College London.

Tunstall's Managing Director Jon Lowe is proud of Tunstall’s achievement with this prestigious award.

"This award recognises the importance that Tunstall places on delivering market leading, innovative solutions for our clients, and I am delighted to have been able to accept this award on behalf of Tunstall”, Mr Lowe said.

“The award is a symbol of the hard work, energy, and commitment that all of our staff gives to supporting patients and carers across the UK."

In Australia, Tunstall Healthcare is also leading the way with both telecare and telehealth, providing telecare solutions to thousands of older and vulnerable Australians and supporting a number of telehealth pilot projects being conducted throughout Australia.

Government is starting to understand the importance of this technology in caring for our community, with Tunstall continuing to endorse the benefits of this ground breaking technology to better support people with special needs and those living with a chronic condition.
